Yay for Washington!

We landed late last night. The flight actually took shorter than expected-only 4 1/2 hours. We hit a good trade wind or something that flung us across the Pacific. Actually, it was a rough flight-we ran into several thunderheads and it got bumpy-so much so that they actually had to suspend the drink service until we were about an hour out from landing. It didn't help that there was this couple behind us who had twins who were 18 months old. The little girl was alright-she'd do that weird screeching thing kids do, then quiet down. Once she threw a pillow at us.

But her brother was WAY more annoying. Starting from the second we got our seats to about half an hour into the flight (and our flight was delayed on the ground for about 20 minutes), this kid screamed, cried and shrieked at the top of his lungs. I thought the guy next to me was going to start getting violent. Then, throughout the whole flight, the kid would go on these spurts where he would do it all over again. I kept waiting for him to get tired and fall asleep, but it didn't happen until about a half hour before we landed. GRR.

On the plus side, we did get an emergancy exit row, so we had extra leg room. That was cool.

It's cool being home-the weather is great. We don't have a lot of plans, but then again, we don't have a car, either. We're dependant on my parents letting us borrow their vehicles or having friends pick us up. Which is fine, really. Gives us time to hang out and really have a relaxing vacation. Mom's letting me take home some of my old Legos, so I'm going to spend a day going through them and finding my old sets. Yay! Gotta love Legos.
